Chair Yoga with Weights
Weight-bearing exercise is critical to keeping our bones strong and our muscles working well. Using weights as part of a yoga practice helps us use our breath to lift weight mindfully and avoid injury. You don't need heavy weights for this practice to be effective! Start with light weights - 1-3lbs - and use heavier weights as your body gets used to the practice.
